ProBoards Admin Center has set up a blog for our guests, members, and staff. While guests can read our blog articles, only members and staff are able to create articles and add comments to them. Read through the following guidelines related to our blog. The guidelines will cover various topics from how to access the blog itself, each of the individual categories, submitting articles, etc.

Writing Articles for the Blog
Guidelines
We encourage all of our members and staff to write articles for our blog. When writing an article you need to be knowledgeable about the topic you are writing on. Your article should contain a minimum of 300 words and should be written in complete sentences with proper English. You should avoid any major grammatical errors in your writing. Your article should be both creative and informative. You want the readers to be interested and you want them to learn something.
When you are creating your article, be sure to select the appropriate filter for it. The filter is essentially the category that your article should be placed in. To select a filter, click on the settings (gear) icon to the upper right hand side of the post box. From there, select filters and then apply the appropriate category filter to your post.
Submitting an Article
There are a few ways in which you can submit an article to our blog. The easiest way to submit an article is to hover over the "blog" navigation button in our forums main menu. The very first drop-down item is "submit article." Clicking on this sub-menu link will take you directly to creating a new article submission post. Additionally, you can view the blog page and click on the link on the right sidebar that says "Create an Aricle Now."
Once your article has been submitted, an administrator will review and edit your article. If the article meets all the requirements for submission, your article will be placed in the appropriate category. Once your article has been placed into a category, it will be featured on our forums blog page. I will try to space out articles that are accepted so that articles remain featured for at least 24-48 hours before the next latest one in a specific category takes its place.
